"Jesus Is God"

- Classes use the “Christian Life Series” which is a publication of Union Gospel Press Division. This Spring Quarter focus is on Jesus' identity as God the Son. First unit "Confirmed by Power over Death", Lesson 1, Jesus claims that anyone who abides in His word will never taste death, because He is none other than the self-existent I Am. Lesson 2, Jesus raises Jairus' daughter from the dead and the lady with an issue of blood is healed. Lesson 3, we see Jesus raising His friend Lazarus from the dead, leading many to believe in Him. Lessons 4 and 5, focuses on Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. The second unit, "Confirmed by Mighty Miracles" confirms Jesus' deity by His miraculous works. Lesson 6, identifies the purpose of all His miracles: to reveal His glory as God's Son and bring about faith in Him. Lesson 7, Jesus casts a demon out of a boy, causing the demon to cry out in anguish. In lesson 8, we see this spiritual warfare when the scribes and Pharisees fail to recognize Jesus as Lord of the Sabbath. Lesson 9, Jesus' disciples worship Him as the Son of God after seeing His power over nature. Lesson 10, Jesus forgives the sins of a paralytic, causing the scribes to accuse Him blasphemy. Finally, the third unit, "Confirmed by His Exaltation, "Lesson 11, even the angels worship Jesus. In Lesson 12, shows that all living things will one day bow before Him. In Lesson 13, the last lesson of this Quarter, we have the promises that He is coming back soon to set all things right. See the upcoming lessons for the Spring Quarter below:
