– Classes use the “Christian Life Series” which is a publication of Union Gospel Press Division. This Fall Quarter is about “God is “All” That” by covering key scriptures from the New Testament letters and selections from Proverbs. The first unit deals with “God is Always Present”, lesson 1, focuses on the “faith” demonstrated by the Saints before us as good examples from which to learn. Lesson 2, looks at the church in Corinthians to illustrate some bad examples to avoid emulating. Lesson 3, explores scriptures in Proverbs to encourage us to pursue Godly wisdom. Lesson 4, the Apostle Paul is encouraging and exhorting the believers to stand firm in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our second unit “God is All-Knowing” begins with lesson 5, emphasizing that the love of God must be demonstrated in believers toward one another. Lesson 6, describes the need for believers to pursue Christ-likeness yo promote the unity of the Church. We find in lesson 7, the need to realize our position in Christ to not focus on temporal things but on heavenly things. Lesson 8, James encourages us to to shun the world, be submissive to God and seek His will for our lives. Lesson 7, considers the messages of the three angels, with particular focus on the second one’s proclamation concerning Babylon. God’s wrath will be poured out upon those who stray from Him and worship the evil figures. Lesson 8, we pause our study of Revelation to reflect on Easter. Luke describes the Risen Lord’s interactions and lessons. The third and final unit “God is All-Powerful” we return to Revelation lessons 9 – 13, cover the final chapters of Revelation. Lesson 9, considers the Lamb’s wedding feast, capturing the final consummation of Christ and His church. Finally, the remaining six lessons 9 – 1, we turn our attention to different aspects of the new heaven and new earth. These vivid images provide hope for Christians suffering in the world today.
